Each garment features a story told through pixel art. Stories that only the dial-up generation would recognised from their childhood. It is meant to trigger a personal memory, to a time before wifi and infinite scroll. Placed on the garment where otherwise a logo would be, it is a delightful surprise to be noticed in passing. Not to represent a brand, but an invitation to reminisce together.

Jacob is a designer who, since his childhood has been creating with (and breaking) whatever the latest technology was. Today, he works with tech startups, contributing to the future of tech every day and seeing first-hand how AI and automation continue to make technology impersonal. He created CTRL Z as a quiet protest – not to oppose progression, but a way to remember when tech was physical, clunky, and just more human.
